Mud Bench

Mud Bench was a fun project it was built to fit into specific place. built out of 2 in Hem fir lumber.  the post are made of 4×4 pine post. The inner floor and the back are also Hem fir 2 inch lumber.

top down to bottom
l length of frame

Let’s talk about construction of this Bench. As you see the bench base was set at 12 inch wide. this helps make the base solid and not wobbly. The legs notched both top and bottom to set the base and top in.  This was set for looks and strength

All the frame and side are made out of 2 inch thick stuff.

Her you see a back view. You can see haw the top and bottom frame boards were notched to attached the back

boards. I use 1 5/8 wood screws also glued with titebond glue.

The last pictures gives you a good look at the front. on this the screw heads show except the top it is attached by screws through the frame boards. I used 2 3/4 screws and titebond glue to attach them.
