Cutting Boards are some of the easiest things to make with the right tools. Here is how I do it. pick our you woods and then plane them to thickness. I plane the sides so they will be flush. Clamp and glue everything in order. I use Ryobi Planer. and Titebond glue there is a lot of different wood glues and I’ll cover them in a different post.

Clamp all together now tightness is not the plan snug is more like it. after you put the glue on clamp till it comes out. Let it clamp for 24 hours. this will give a good cure time.

Then I sand it good to get any glue off then back thru the planer for final run. Then i Route the edges and I drill a hole to help pick it up. you will always find a hole in my cutting boards.
